Paul had three studios in his life. Studio Plinio, in Rome, where the vocabulary first formed. Studio Calamatta, also in Rome, the years of density and collaboration. And finally Studio Sutri, north of the city, in the shadow of the ancient Etruscan town — the studio of the last decade, and the one that continues.

The studio remains open. We intend to keep it in the spirit of Paul's practice: a quiet place, a landscape, and the possibility of making work. The majority of his work is exhibited here, and we offer a limited studio space and retreat to those who wish to immerse themselves in the rhythm of a working studio — shadowed by the ancient town and the beautiful landscape on the Roma / Lazio borders.

The studio today

Three views of Studio Sutri — the living room with reliefs along the walls, the central glazed atrium with mezzanine, the kitchen with hand-painted majolica tiles.
