Writings on Paul's work — articles, essays, letters.
Monographic book on Paul Klerr's work, published 1994/2000. The volume traces a narrative through Klerr's drawings on A4 paper, page after page — a kind of map of the strategic occupation of space, alternating the two-dimensional dimension of paper with the three-dimensional dimension of sculpture (peperino, wood, iron).
Edited by Michela Papadia, with an afterword by Emilio Puglielli. The book was presented on 17 January 2001 at the Galleria Comunale d'Arte Moderna in Rome (Sala Conferenze, ex Fabbrica Peroni, via Reggio Emilia 54), with a presentation by Francesco Moschini and Emilio Puglielli.
Puglielli writes of a "remarkable narrative effort" that generates, page after page and within each single page, multiple hypotheses for the development of a map of the strategic occupation of space.
Further texts are being collected — gallery essays, critical articles, and Paul's own writings. If you wrote about Paul's work, or know of a text that should appear here, please get in touch.
